Brown sugar is a blonde sweetener with a dry, crystalline form and is used to give a sweet taste to the recipes and beverages that are added. It consists of sucrose crystals and contains molasses from which its brown color comes. Compared to white sugar, brown takes longer to dissolve in recipes. When heated, then its taste and color change a little, so it becomes darker and acquires a slightly caramel flavor.

Use brown sugar like white sugar in all your sweet gastronomic creations. It is about as sweet as white and behaves like that and in most recipes you can even replace it.
