Red tea has an African origin and it comes without theine. It is of excellent quality, with intense reddish-brown color. Its taste is refined, sweet. Its smell is special and notable. We believe that adding sugar and other sweeteners to red tea is unnecessary, because it is sweet, rich, intensely tasty and pleasant.

It is a tea that if stored for a long time, its unique aroma can be substained . Compared to other types of tea that have theine, Rooibos red tea does not have any and that gives us the advantage to drink it either hot or cold at all hours of the day.

How to make Turkish rooibos tea

To enjoy a drink of Turkish tea, it is ideal to preheat the cup you will use, pouring hot water over it. Then, heat water (95-100 degrees) and fill the cup. Put 1/2 tbsp.of the drink mixture in the filters or in a tea egg in the cup with hot water for 5 minutes. Nevertheless, the longer it stays in the hot water during its preparation, the sweeter the taste , the intense aroma and its deep colors will be. Try before adding any sweetener.

Tips:

  • Always use fresh water and not water left in the teapot or in the kettle for hours.
  • The longer the rooibos remain in the hot water, so more intense the sweeter and the taste will be.
  • After you make it, if you wish you can place it in the fridge so you can enjoy it cold.
