Orzo with dried vegetables is a mixture of medium barley, garlic, onion, carrot, leek, chives, red and green pepper, porcini mushrooms, white mushrooms, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt.


Orzo is the gourmet choice on our table, it is a highly versatile food, its technique is simple but requires precision, it takes less than half an hour of cooking and we enjoy it either plain or as an accompaniment to other dishes. We must eat it immediately when we cook it.


In order to make a melted, creamy successful orzo with a soft and homogeneous texture, we have to stir it constantly, to sauté it and to choose the right broth.


Tip: Orzo is never used in sour cream but a lot of cow butter.
