Flaxseed showcases a powerful nutritional profile. It contains protein, dietary fiber, several B complex vitamins, dietary minerals, and is especially rich in thiamine, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium, iron, potassium, copper and zinc. As s percentage of total fat, flaxseed contains% omega-3 fatty acids, as in oleic acid, 18% omega-9 fatty acids as in linoleic acid, 9% saturated fat and 5% as palmitic acid. Flaxseed contains 53% 18:3 omega-3 fatty acid and 13% 18:2 omega-6 fatty acids.

Sunflower seeds are an excellent source of vitamin E, which is the body's primary fat-soluble antioxidant. This vitamin is important for neutralizing free radicals throughout the body and it also holds significant anti-inflammatory properties, reducing the symptoms of asthma, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Sunflower seeds also contain copper, vitamin B1, manganese, selenium, phosphorus, magnesium, vitamin B6, folate and vitamin B3. They are also rich in protein and dietary fibers. Sunflower seeds consumption can help in protecting the cardiovascular system, help in lowering cholesterol levels due to the high amount of phytosterols present, calm the nerves, muscles and blood vessels due to the magnesium it contains, improve detoxification and cancer prevention due to the selenium they contain.

Pumpkin seeds are very rich in minerals and metals, much like zinc, manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, and vitamins such as vitamin B1, B3, B6, choline, folate, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, and beta carotenes. It is also worthy to mention that pumpkin seeds contain an abundance of vitamin E in many of its forms. The seeds should be consumed for the antioxidant support they provide, as they contain phenolic antioxidants and phytonutrients like lignans, the mineral support, as they contain high levels of many important minerals, for the treatment and prevention they provide against diabetes, for their antimicrobial benefits due to the present lignans, for cancer-related benefits and for benefits against benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Pine nuts contain many phyto-nutrients, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals. They contain oleic acid that contributes in lowering LDL cholesterol and increase HDL cholesterol. Pine nuts contain an essential omega-6 fatty acid called pinolenic acid, which is useful during weight loss by curbing appetite. They are also an excellent source of vitamin E, much like sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, B-complex vitamins like thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B-6 and folates. Furthemore, pine nuts contain essential minerals like manganese, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and selenium.

Cranberries are rich in phyto-nutrients, naturally derived compounds, particularly proanthocyanidin antioxidants, which are essential for all-round wellness. The berries contain numerous health benefiting chemical substances that may offer protection from tooth cavities, urinary tract infections and inflammatory diseases. Cranberries contain moderate levels of vitamin C, dietary fiber and the essential dietary mineral, manganese, as well as other micronutrients. They are a source of phytochemicals, particularly polyphenols which are used for possible effects on the cardiovascular system, immune system and cnacer, like isolated prostate cancer cells.
