We ground it in our own quinoa mills and turned it into flour to use in cooking and pastry recipes. Quinoa flour, that is, results from the crushing of its seeds, has an ocher color, mild aroma, heavy and dense texture and finds uses in vegan recipes mainly (eg burgers, meatballs).

Why to use quinoa flour?

Its gluten - free and also an ideal way to make delicious dishes with it, even sweets e.g. cookies.

Do not replace it with all-purpose flour in your recipes, it does not behave like this and no other gluten-free flour. For your culinary creations to be successful, it is ideal to mix it with other flours.

In which recipes is quinoa flour used?

Use quinoa flour alone in your recipes e.g. in soups, but also mix it with other flours and make gluten-free recipes: omelette, crackers, meatballs, soutzoukaki, vegetable burgers, cookies, breads, cookies, crepe leaves, muffins, sauces, pizza dough.

How to store quinoa flour properly

To preserve quinoa flour, it is important to store it in a dark and cool place. When it comes in contact with high temperatures it is in danger of developing microorganisms (bugs). Place it in airtight containers so that it is not affected by the smells of other foods. Flour is delicate and must be stored in the refrigerator during the summer. Avoid storing them on shelves near the absorber as water vapor will damage them.
