Fish sauce is a staple of Thai cuisine and is used to make fish and meat marinades. It has a fluid texture, brown color, fishy smell and is ready to use. When we open its bottle, the smell of fish is very strong. But when the fish sauce is cooked, it works like salt in the recipes that are added, it gives a special gastronomic hue and taste complexity to them.


In which recipes is fish sauce used?

The fish sauce is used in recipes with fish, shrimp, pork, chicken soups as well as in stir fries. Make vinaigrette in salads, spaghetti sauce and grilled vegetables and yogurt dips. Make a dressing and pour it into stir fries with noodls: with a little lime, 2 tbsp. fish sauce, 1 tbsp. water, 1 clove garlic 1kg. coriander.
